Ian Martin joined The Thick Of It as ‘swearing consultant’ on Series 1 and is now part of the writing team. He wrote for the Oscar-nominated film In the Loop and was a major contributor to The Thick of It: The Missing DoSAC Files, published by Faber in November 2010. Ian has written for radio and newspapers. He edits the satirical website www.martian.fm and produces weekly columns for the Architects’ Journal and the Times Educational Supplement. He lives in Lancaster.
