Šárka Tobrmanová-Kühnová lives in Prague, and read Czech and English at Charles University, where she is now a Senior Lecturer in English literature. She won an international scholarship to Oxford where she gained her doctorate with a thesis on Milton’s poetic style. Her academic publications are mainly on Milton and the English Renaissance, and she writes poetry in English and Czech.
